YOUNG JUDOISTS GRAB MEDALS


Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Mongolian judoists have won medals in the Asian Junior and Youth Judo Championships that took place from April 30 to May 1 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Young judoists B.Gankhaich (women's 52 kg), B.Tsend (women's 57 kg) grabbed gold medals. Bronze medals went to B.Tserenchimed (women's 40 kg), E.Bazarragchaa (44 kg), E.Gerelmaa (48 kg), S.Adiltsetseg (-63 kg) and E.Khandarmaa (+63 kg) at the junior division. In the men's contests, G.Altanbagana (55 kg) and B.Bat-Erdene (-66 kg) won bronze medals.
At the youth division of the competitions, D.Naranjargal (women's 70 kg) won gold medal defeating all her rivals by ippon. She has been selected the best female judoist in the competitions as well. Moreover, B.Sainbuyan (women's 63 kg), D.Sumya (57 kg) won gold medals, T.Amarjargal (52 kg), N.Nyamtuya (-78 kg), D.Zoljargal (+78 kg) won bronze medals. The Mongolian women judoists took a first place by the team results.
At the men's youth division, T.Tuvshintulga (90 kg) and O.Duurenbayar (+100 kg) grabbed gold medals, Enkhbayar (60 kg), M.Dashnyam (73 kg)--silver, and E.Khuntaij (55 kg)--bronze ones.
