TUNE TALK TO TAP SINGAPORE ROAMING SOLUTIONS MARKET BY 3Q2010

KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 (Bernama) -- Tune Talk Sdn Bhd, in its first
international foray, is keen to tap the roaming solutions market in Singapore by
the middle of its third quarter.

The company's financial year ends December 2010.

This service however, applies only to Malaysian prepaid users travelling to
Singapore. The customers will be charged the Singapore local rates.

Its Chief Executive Officer, Jason Lo said Tune Talk currently has
a roaming service for Malaysians in Singapore but operates as a mobile
virtual network operator, on Celcom (M) Bhd's 2.5G network.

"We are trying to by-pass the current roaming platform and link up with a
Singapore telco and we are in talks with a company there now.

"We hope to conclude the deal soon, for our prepaid customers to enjoy
better roaming rate benefits," he said after the signing of a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU)with Bank Islam (M) Bhd here Thursday.

Explaining further the benefits for Malaysians, he said: "Customers will be
able to maintain their SIM card as well as number and make calls at the local
Singapore rate."

He said currently, the cheapest Singapore call rate is about S$0.08 per
minute.

Speaking about investments to expand into the Singapore market, he said the
capital expenditure is fairly minimal.

Meanwhile, Tune Talk is also eyeing to penetrate the roaming market in
Indonesia early next year and aims to make a foray into three other countries in
the next 12 months.

According to Lo, the company plans to be in all the Asean countries in five
years.

Currently, Tune Talk has about 860,000 activations and hopes to hit one
million activations next month.

Tune Talk offers the lowest prepaid flat call rate in the country at 16 sen
per minute to any domestic operator.
