PRESIDENT RECEIVES REPS OF MONGOLIAN GREEN ALLIANCE

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ President Ts.Elbegdorj received Thursday O.Bum-Yalagch, a general coordinator of the Mongolian Green Coalition; A.Saruul, a head of the Mongolian National Green Movement; and Ts.Tuyatsetseg, a head of the Tuul River Protection Movement.
They have attended recently the 10th Forum of the Asia-Pacific Green Alliance held in Chinese Taipei. This forum put forward certain proposals about conserving natural environment in Mongolia suich as ceasing the "Gold" program, "which is harming environment in Mongolia, and revising the law on uranium extraction".
They said the forum also expressed its satisfaction with Mongolia President's decision to put a moratorium on capital punishment.
