Health ministry to present draft law over pre-marriage medical check up

SANA'A, May 08 (Saba)- Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul =
Kareem Rasa said on Saturday
that the ministry is working to present a draft law over pre- marriage =
medical check up to avoid Thalassaemia.
In a ceremony held on Thalassaemia day, Rasa said that the ministry =
realized growing number of people, who are affected with Thalassaemia.
He pointed out to the care presented by the government to these people =
by improving health services presented to them.
In coordination with the Yemen Society of Thalassaemia, the ministry =
has worked to find out active way to present medicines for affected =
people across the country, the minister
said.
The Yemen Society of Thalassaemia was established in 2000.
