PM attends festival on 20th anniversary of unification in Mahweet
MAHWEET, May 08
(Saba)- Attended by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, Mahweet province witnessed on
Saturday a
festival on 20th anniversary the unification.
In the festival, Mujawar delivered a speech in which he conveyed greetings of
President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the citizens of the province on this occasion.
He pointed out to the services and development projects taken place in the province
especially in fields of roads, promising further projects in coming period at sum
of
YR 6.5 billion in the province.
He considered the unification as greatest achievement for the nation under
leadership of president Saleh, saying that the unity is a crown of great
achievements.
The prime minister pointed out to rebellion of al-Houthi gang in Saada province
which made hundreds thousand people homeless, and damaged development in the
province.
Moreover, he also pointed out to the crimes committed by elements of separatist
movement in some district of southern districts.
He said that Houthis, the separatist movement and al-Qaeda unified their goals to
target stability and security of the nation.
He also talked about suspected alliance between joint meeting parties and al-Houthi
group from side and with the separatist movement from other side. The prime
minister
said that such alliance confirmed that these parties want to reach their political
goals by making alliance with outlaw elements.
He affirmed importance of February agreement as only way for political reforms,
indicating to the recent statement of president Saleh in which he confirmed that
the parliamentary
elections would be held on time.
Mujawar also said that the government has taken several measures to reduce impacts
of economic and financial crisis.
