Results of internal elections for local councils announced
SANA'A, May 08 (Saba)-
Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs and Minister of Local
Administration
Rashad al-Alimi announced on Saturday results of the internal elections for the
local councils.
In a press conference, al-Alimi said that elections were succeeded in 329 councils
out of 350 councils.
The elections in Raimah province was failed, he said, some 1,113 supervisors
observed the elections.
The General People Congress party got high number of seats in these councils at
level of the provinces or districts, he said.
