Yemen to attend ACAC session in Rabat

SANA'A, May 09 (Saba) - Yemen is set to take
part in the session of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Commission
that starts
next Tuesday in Morocco's capital of Rabat.
Upon departure for the session along with an accompanying delegation, Head of the
national Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority Hamed Faraj said the five-day
session
will discuss several topics related to the reports of safety, air transport and
aviation security and navigation committees on their activities during the last two
years.
During the session, the executive council of the commission for the next period
will be reelected.
In this regard, Faraj said Yemen plans to re-nominate itself in the membership of
the executive council, air transport, financial supervision and air navigation and
security
committees.
The session will also discuss the possibility of candidacy of a number of Arab
countries in the elections of the council of the International Civil Aviation
Organization
which will be held later this year, he said.
