$ 20 mln factory to be established in AFZ
ADEN, May 09 (Saba) - A contract was
singed here on Sunday for establishing a production plant of noodle quick
preparation "Andome"
at a cost of USD 20 million.
According to the contract signed by the Chairman of the Aden Free Zone (AFZ) Abdul
Jalil al-Shuaibi and the general director of the investment company Faris Hullabi,
the
work in the project would start in the current May and it would be implemented in
two phases, while the real production of the factory would begin in the mid of 2011
with
a production capacity of up to 208.9 million units to be exported to a number of
countries.
After signing the contract, al-Shuaibi noted the importance of setting up such
projects by the private sector in the free zone, pointing out that these projects
would provide
many job opportunities and would contribute to the development rise witnessed by the
province of Aden.
He welcomed all investments in the various fields, affirming that they would enjoy
all aspects of support and care.
For his part, the company's general director revealed that his company's desire to
implement a number of other projects relating to the food industries within the AFZ
in
the near future.
Hullabi Limited Company is a Yemeni-British company. It has several brunches in
Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Syria.
