President receives former Jordanian PM, Senate president

AMMAN, May 10 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Monday in Amman the former Jordanian Prime Minister and Senate President Zaid al-Rifai.

During the meeting, they talked over the improved level reached by the two
countries relations.
Al-Rifai praised the role played by President Saleh to serve the Arab issues as
well as his keenness to reinforce unity of the Arabs, affirming the distinguished
characteristics
of the Yemeni-Jordanian bonds.
For his part, Saleh valued efforts of al-Rifai during his service in the Jordanian
senior positions which contributed to serving the Jordanian people and his support
for
the various Arab issues, in addition to his efforts in promoting the bilateral
relations of Yemen and Jordan in all areas.
On the other hand, President Saleh paid a visit to the National Center for Security
and Crisis Management in Amman.
