Yemen, EU discuss cooperation aspects

SANA'A, May 11 (Saba) - Minister of Planning
and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi met here on Tuesday with the
European
Union ambassador in Sana'a Michele Cervone D'urso.
The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation and relations between Yemen and the
EU and means of boosting them so as to serve the common goals.
They dealt with the details relating to the underway preparations for holding the
meetings of the Yemeni-European committee scheduled to be held in Sana'a during the
coming
period.
In the meeting, al-Arhabi praised the EU's contributions to support and enhance the
process of reforms and development in Yemen.
Al-Arhabi confirmed the Yemeni government's keenness to boost the frameworks of the
partnership between Yemen and the EU Commission, expressing his hope that the EU
contributes
effectively in enhancing the capabilities of development in Yemen.
