WCME 2010 AS PLATFORM TO CREATE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) -- The World Chinese Muslim Trade and Culture
Exhibition (WCME) 2010 will be a platform to promote the world Chinese Muslim
industry to Asia and worldwide with Malaysia as the premier hub to create
business opportunities.

The event from May 20 to 22 is organised by the MINES Event Management and
Cheng Ho Culture Education Trust with the theme, "Your Gateway to Business in
the Chinese Muslims World".

"This forum is considered a platform for direct marketing among participants
to expand their business activities," said WCME 2010 chairman Lee Kim
Yew.

Highlight of WCME 2010 is a forum for both local and international
delegates, including those from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Brunei,
Kazakhstan, and the Middle East.

"The first WCME 2010 will create a linkage and cooperation to enhance
knowledge, understanding and awareness towards the culture and business aspects
of world Chinese Muslims," Lee said.

Among the speakers are Hong Mei Xiang, governer of Yinchuan in the Ningxia
Province, China, and Ishaq Ma Xioqi, president of the Kazakhstan Donggan
Association.

"Apart from the constructive forum emphasising on business opportunities,
the event will exhibit informative showcases, specifically on Chinese Muslim
culture and heritage, including Islamic calligraphy and Chinese Muslim arts,"
Lee said.
