Thai investor interested in investment in Laos
(KPL) The Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Bouasone Bouphavanh on 9 July at the Prime Minister's Office received a courtesy visit of Mr Dhanin Cheaaravanont, Chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Company (C.P Group) of Thailand.
This visit to Laos is to launch a feasibility study on investment in the development of modern agriculture and forestry in Laos, particularly inlivestock and plantation.
During the talk, PM Bouasone expressed congratulations for the visit, and pointed that Mr Thanin's objective was in harmony with the socio-economic development plan of the Lao PDR at the moment On the same occasion, Mr. Dhanin also called on Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad, Standing Deputy Prime Minister and on the Mayor of Vientiane capital, alsoinformed them of the main purpose of his Laos visit.
