OMV-Yemen to execute oil pipeline project in Marib

MARIB, May 15 (Saba) - Marib
Governor Naji al-Zaidi held talks here on Saturday with the OMV-Yemen Company's
delegation
led by the company's General-Director.
The two sides discussed the implementation of project to build an oil pipeline from
al-Uklah are in Shabwa province to Safir in Marib province. They agreed that the
company
presents a time plan which includes an assessment for the company's needs from
manpower and technicians and the project's requirements from machineries and
equipments.
In the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to continue coordination between
the company and the local authority in the province to facilitate the company's
functions
and to ensure the workers' rights and to apply the regulations and laws organizing
the investment process.
The governor welcomed the company's delegation and affirmed that the province has
many investment opportunities, noting the privileges granted by the investment law
to investors
in the different areas.
Meanwhile, he confirmed that the investments in the province would enjoy care and
attention of the province leadership, noting to the safe investment climates in the
province.
