FM heads Arab ministers in visit to Ningxia region
NINGXIA, May 15 (Saba) - Foreign
Minister Abu Baker al-Qirbi headed on Saturday the group of Arab foreign ministers
and
delegations participating in the China-Arab Cooperation Forum during a visit paid to
Ningxia Autonomous Region.
Within an official program for the group, the Ministers visited a number of Islamic
heritage sites in some provinces, including the Najiahu Mosque and China Hui
Culture
Park at Yongning province in Ningxia Region.
During the receiving ceremonies and luncheon held to honor the Arab delegation,
Al-Qirbi expressed on behalf of the Arab group appreciation of the good hospitality
the group
has received.
He also highlighted the historical ties and the deep-rooted relations join China
and Arabs, making reference to the opportunities available for the two sides to
create strategic
cooperation serves the two sides' common interests.
"We are expecting from our friends and partners in China a supportive attitude
towards the Arab efforts to realize peace in the Middle East based on justice and
obedience
to the international resolutions", al-Qirbi said.
He valued the Chinese support for Yemen's unity, security and stability and its
firm stances supporting Arab issues, topped by the Palestinian cause.
The Minister hailed the Chinese unique developmental experience in different
fields, renewing the group's support for the Chinese unity and respect for its
internal affairs.
