Yemen wins ACAC membership
RABAT, May 16 (Saba) - Yemen, represented by the Civil
Aviation and Meteorology Authority, has won the membership of the executive council
of the
Arab Civil Aviation Commission (ACAC), after joining special committees at the
commission. Head of the authority Hamid Faraj said he had been elected as deputy
chairman of
the council. The nomination took place during the last meeting of the general
assembly of the commission held in Morocco on May 12-15. At the meeting, Yemen
requested to
be reelected to the membership of the council and special committees. The United
Arab Emirates was elected as chair of the council for 2010-2014. FR
