MONGOLIA COOPERATE GOVERNANCE FORUM TO BE HELD


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 3rd Mongolia Corporate Governance Forum will be held May 27 in the Chingis Khaan hotel.
The objective of this event is to bring together Mongolian business leaders and policy makers in the annual forum to present and discuss the results of the World Bank ROSC (Reports on the Observance of Standards and Codes) findings and recommendations. Another objective is to discuss a number of topical issues relevant to the current state of the markets and help form a general consensus regarding the formation of necessary policy reform agenda in Mongolia.
The forum which is organized by the Corporate Governance Development Center (CGDC) will be attended by the USAID Economic Policy Reform and Competitiveness (EPRC) Project, the Institute of Finance and Economics (IFE), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Eurasia Capital, Mongolia's Business Council, the "Golomt" commercial bank, the "Newcom" LLC, the "Skytel" LLC, the "Khas" bank, and "Mongolia Development Resources" company.
In respect the forum's program, the attendees will deliver reports and run discussions under topics--"World Bank report on Standards and codes on corporate governance 2010", "Corporate Governance Reform in Banking Sector in Light of Recent Crises", "Investors' perspectives about Mongolia: Expectations and requirements" and "Future corporate governance policy frameworks and regulation".
This year's forum will be sponsored by the Golomt bank. In addition to it, the Press Institute of Mongolia will participate in the forum as a media partner.
