ALO to organize training course on labor movement in Yemen
SANA'A, May 17 (Saba) -
The Arab Labor Organization ALO in cooperation with the International Organization
for Migration
IMO plans to organize a training course on workforce migration from labor exporting
countries to receiver countries: Yemen and the Arabian Gulf States a model.
The training course is expected to take place in the last quarter of this year in
Sana'a.
Informed sources said the course will aim at identifying the trends and directions
of the Yemeni labor migration as well as needs of the Arabian Gulf labor markets.
The sources added that it will focus on diagnosing obstacles facing the movement of
the Yemeni workforce and requirements to expand its employment.
The course comes within the ALO support for facilitating the movement of the Yemeni
workforce to the GCC and within the GCC drive to qualify Yemeni laborers to replace
foreign
nationalities working in the Gulf, they concluded.
