YEMEN PARTICIPATES IN COSTAL ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION CONFERENCE

SANA'A, May 17 (Saba) - Yemen is to participate in the International Conference on Costal Environment Protection to be held in the Jordanian capital Amman during the period May 19 – 23.

Upon his leaving Sana'a airport, Undersecretary of Water and Environment Ministry Mufid al-Halemi said that the conference would discuss several environment issues, especially those deal with the costal environment in addition to reviewing aspects of increasing the contact among the States of the Red Sea Basin.

The conference will deal with the youth's role in protecting environment in addition to the Jordanian environmental experience in the field of saving the costal environment.

The conference is organized by Jordan Higher Council for Youth in cooperation with Arab Union for Youth and Environment.
