YEMEN, JAPAN TALK ON FUTURE AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION

SANA'A, May 17 (Saba) - Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Mansour al-Hawshabi held talks on Monday with Japanese ambassador to Yemen Mitsunori Namba on the aspects of enhancing the future agricultural cooperation between Yemen and Japan.

The talks dealt with some issues concerning the Japanese aid in the agricultural field and the grant allocated to support the productivity increase, which focus on providing the poor farmers with agricultural equipment that is expected to arrive in the coming July.

Al-Hawshabi appreciated the Japanese support to the agricultural development in Yemen through providing agricultural equipment and requirements, which contribute in increasing the productivity and improve the quality of agricultural products.
