Laos-Vietnam photo exhibition commemorates Ho Chi Minh’s 120th birthday
VIENTIANE ,17 MAY (KPL) - The Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos organised the Laos-Vietnam photo exhibition to mark the 120th birthday anniversary of late President of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, at the Vietnam Cultural Centre, Xieng Gnuene village, Chanthaboury district, Vientiane Capital, from 14 May to 5 June.
One hundred and twenty photos on display in the exhibition covers a wide range of topics on the Laos-Vietnam relations during the time of Ho Chi Minh, his personal life, and the cooperation between the two Lao leaders, Souphanouvong and Kaysone Phomvihanh, and Ho Chi Minh.
The aim of this photo display is to get Lao people to be aware of the outstanding achievements of Ho Chi Minh.
The opening ceremony, held on 14 May, was attended by Standing Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad, deputy ministers, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos and officials concerned.
