PRESIDENT RECEIVES ROUND-TRIPPER "AMAI" ZOLBAYAR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ President Ts.Elbegdorj received Monday a round-tripper J.Zolbayar who recently has returned home after finishing his tours around the world.
The President said he is proud of the round-tripper who managed to cover some 70 thousand km ways across almost 70 countries with encouraging Mongolian young generation and advertizing his country.
At the meeting, Zolbayar granted to the State Head a state flag which was raised in every country he toured. “Purposes of my trip were to recognize myself and to compare history, culture, traditions, custom and lifestyles between my country and other countries. Finally, I learned that Mongolia is the most beautiful country on our planet. I want to express my thanks to Mongolians and those who gave me an opportunity to recognize many countries,” Zolbayar said. “Now I have a lot of things and goals in Mongolia,” he added.
Elbegdorj congratulated Zolbayar on returning home after successful finishing his journey of the world, and wished him to share interesting news about the countries with Mongolians and do a lot pursuing his dream.
J.Zolbayar nicknamed Amai started his trip on November 4, 2005 from Ulaanbaatar. His tours continued for four years, six months and 12 days across 69 countries in Europe and Africa.
Zolbayar was born the 28th of June 1979 in Ulaanbaatar during the communist time of the country, in an intellectual family (father teacher in university and mother economist). He grew up in Ulaanbaatar. Then the family moved to former Soviet Union, to Irkutsk city. There he studied in the Russian School for four years until 12 years old. After the communism collapsed the family had to return to Mongolia in 1991. He entered the UB-based secondary school 23.
Zolbayar is also known among young generation a a composer of electro trance music.
