Arrangements underway for next round of Yemeni-Jordanian Higher Committee

Committee SANA'A, May 18 (Saba) - Arrangements have got underway for the
next round of the Yemeni-Jordanian
Higher Committee that will take place in July. It would be co-chaired by
both Prime Ministers, sources at the Ministry of Planning and
International Cooperation told the
September 26 website reported on Tuesday. The sources said the meeting
will discuss topics topped by those related to mutual cooperation
between the two countries in all
areas. A number of agreements would be signed as well. Moreover, the
sources expected that the next round will represent a specific step on
the bilateral ties after the historic
visit of President Saleh to Jordan this month. On the other hand, the
Yemeni-Algerian Committee is expected to meet in July to discuss
cooperation in areas such as economy,
trade, oil and technical education and vocational training. The meeting
would co-chaired by Ministers of Technical Education and Vocational
Training in both countries. Yemen
has 27 joint committees with Arab, Islamic and African states including
six higher committees under the chairmanship of Premiers. The number of
joint committees with Arab
countries is 19, those with Islamic countries 5 and other five with
