CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet discussed a draft new wording of the law on firearms initiated by Ts.Monkh-Orgil MP. The draft will be submitted to parliament after in it views of governmental members.
The cabinet discussed results of the works of the Premier S.Batbold in Hong Kong and his participation in the Boao Forum held April 9-13, 2010 in Hainan, China. The Foreign Minister G.Zandanshatar was ordered to submit the results-related issues to the National Security Council (NSC).
Head of the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government Ch.Khurelbaatar introduced results of the cabinet meetings held in first four months of 2010. According to him, the cabinet met 25 times to discuss 305 issues.

The cabinet considered as necessary an approval of a governmental resolution on regulation decision-making about administrative norms.
The permanent representative of Mongolia to the United Nations (UN) O.Enkhtsetseg was allowed to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Mongolian government and UN on having Mongolian military group participate in the UN peacekeeping operations in Chad and the Central African Republic.
Governor of Zavkhan aimag Ya.Sanjmyatav gave a report on implementation of the contract between the aimag's administration and the general managers of the state budget.
Results were introduced of a participation of the Defense Minister L.Bold in the International Meeting of the ISAF held May 11, 2010 in Berlin, Germany.
