PRESIDENT SALEH VISITS ALGOMHURIA PRESS FOUNDATION

TAIZ, May 22 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh has paid a visit
to "Algomhuria" Foundation for press, printing and publishing in
Taiz province.

President Saleh was received by chairman of board - Chief Editor of
the foundation Samir al-Yousofi who briefed the President over
journalist and printing steps for "Algomhuria" paper and the current
preparations for installing a new printer at a cost of YR 1.2
billion financed by the government.

President Saleh has praised the role of the foundation in spreading
awareness of the national issues, urging the foundation to carry out
its duties and to reflect the light image of the national press.

Later, President Saleh has paid a tour around Taiz province, in
which celebrations marking the Unification Day of Yemen.
