PM MEETS JAPANESE AMBASSADOR
SANA'A May 24 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar met here on Monday with Mr. Mitsunori Namba on the occasion of his recent appointment as ambassador to Yemen.
In the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and means of boosting them in the trade, economic, culture and investment areas.
Mujawar praised the Japanese government's contributions to support the development programs in Yemen, noting the historic friendship relations between the two friendly peoples.
He reiterated the call to the Japanese investors to invest in the various investment sectors and to avail from the investment opportunities in Yemen, affirming that they would enjoy all aspects of care and support and facilities.
For his part, the Japanese diplomat noted to the continued development witnessed by the relations between the friendly peoples, pointing to the mutual keenness to strengthen these relations in all areas.
He pointed to the prevailing security in Yemen, which is incompatible with what the foreign media portrayed.
The Japanese ambassador emphasized that he would do his best to strengthen the bilateral relations in various economic and developmental sectors.
