SENTENCE AGAINST SUSPECTS SPYING FOR IRAN TO BE ISSUED

SANA'A, May 24 (Saba) - The Court of Criminal Appeal in Sana'a to issue, in its first session on Tuesday, the sentence in the case of suspects spying for Iran.

The Specialized Penal Court of First Instance sentenced on the 31st of March, 2009 the first and second suspects in the case Abdul-Karim Ali and Hani Ahmed Dine to
death. It also acquitted the third suspect, Eskander Abdullah.

The Prosecution accused the suspects for contacting a foreign country via some people working for Iran, during the period 1997- 2008.
