YEMEN PARTICIPATES IN OIC'S 37TH ROUND

DUSHANBE, May 24 (Saba)- Yemeni ambassador to Russia and Tajikistan Mohammed al-Hilali headed a Yemeni delegation to participate in the 37th round of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).

The conference being held under the slogan "Joint Viewpoint for More Security for Islamic World" begins on Monday in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe.

In remarks to Saba, al-Hilali said that the conference will discuss the challenges which face the Islamic world, especially the Israeli violence against the Palestinians, in addition to the Somali situation.

It would also discuss the challenges concerning poverty and issues of security and democracy in the Islamic world, he added.
