SANA'A, May 25 (Saba) - The Electricity
and Energy Ministry started on Monday operating the third turbine of the Marib
gas-fired
power station, Marib 1, at a capacity of 130 megawatts. Director General of the Gas
Project Implementation Unit Khalid Rashid said the unit had received the turbine
from
Siemens Company. With the addition, the station is now produces 341 megawatts at
