Saada, riots detainees released
GOVERNORATES, May 25 (Saba)- Security and judiciary systems are still carrying out the release process of those detained due to Saada
rebellion acts and southern governorates riots in compliance with directives of Presient Ali Abdullah Saleh on the occasion of the National Day of the Yemeni Unification.
40 people were set free who were arrested for involvement in the Saada rebellion
and destruction acts.
In Hajjah, 14 people were released who were detained also due to taking part in the
Houthi-led rebellion in the governorate of Saada.
In Huddeidah governorate, 40 people were set free after being arrested for taking
part in the Saada rebellion.
In Abyan, 23 people were released who were arrested in riot and outlawed acts which
took place in the governorate lately.
The released expressed appreciation for President Saleh pardon, showing displeasure
with their involvement in the acts they committed against law and the country, and
affirmed
their sincere intention to become good citizens working for the interest of the
country.
