D.IDEVKHTEN ATTENDS EVENT IN VORONEZH OBLAST

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation Mr. Idevkhten has participated in the Day for Propagandizing Voronezh oblast, a federal subject of Russia. The action has ran in the Reception Hall of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Moscow.
Present at the event were Mr. S.Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of Russia; A.V.Gordeev, a governor of Voronezh oblast; heads of diplomatic missions in Moscow; some delegates of transnational companies, top Russian entities.
At an opening ceremony of the Day, Mr. Lavrov mentioned that a steadily developing Voronezh oblast is a junction of relations of railways, water and air ways and auto roads, and noted that the size of foreign investments has been increasing in the oblast.
Following him, Mr. Gordeev and First Deputy Minister of the subject's government Mr. A.Ganov spoke in turn about a present situation of socio-economy, investment environment and opportunities.
Meetings have been held among the gathered. Mongolia's Ambassador discussed with Voronezh's authorities and officials of Russian Ministries a development of the regional cooperation in the commercial and economic spheres.
Expressing a gratitude to the Ambassador for attending the Day of Propaganda, Gordeev and the officials emphasized that expanding the trade and economic collaboration with Mongolia is one of the priority directions of the external relations of Voronezh oblast and that the Russian side intends to orginaze a visit of the Ambassador to their oblast in the near future.
Mr. Idevkhten said that a wide-range participation of Mongolia's Embassy in the event shows how much importance Mongolia attaches to intensifying the relations and cooperation with Russia in all spheres.
