Future EU-funded fishery projects in Yemen reviewed

SANA'A, May 26 (Saba) - Yemen and European Union (EU) discussed in here on Wednesday the future fishery projects EU will fund in Yemen.

Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammad Shamlan held talks with an EU delegation
headed by the Development Cooperation Officer Philip Jacks over the
under-construction projects
financed by EU, particularly national strategy for fishery sector worth €11 million
and the project of fishery sector reconstruction.
During the meeting, Shamlan asserted the ministry's keenness on utilizing perfectly
from the grants presented by the EU for the fishery sector, valuing the European
efforts
and financings for typical fishery projects.
