PALESTINIAN PRESIDENT ENDS VISIT TO MALAYSIA


SEPANG (Malaysia), May 28 (Bernama) -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas left
Kuala Lumpur for Indonesia Friday after completing his three-day visit to the
country.

Abbas flew out of KL International Airport in a special aircraft at
1.15pm.

The visit, his second after the first in 2007, was aimed at enhancing the
bilateral relations between both countries.

At the airport to bid him farewell were Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and
Consumerism Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob who is acting foreign minister,
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom who was the
minister-in-attendance and Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia Abdelaziz
Abughoush.

During his visit here, Abbas met Prime Minister Najib Razak and had audience
with King Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
