Mareb Local Council refuses any destructive acts

SANA'A, May 28 (Saba)- Secretary
General of the Local Council of Mareb governorate sheikh Saleh al-Shabwani has
condemned
any destruction acts committed by some elements in the governorate, according to the
state-run 26sep.net.
Sheikh al-Shabwani, uncle of the unintendedly killed Jabir al-Shabwani the previous
Secretary General of the Local Council of Mareb, said that "we are supportive of
security
and stability and we stand against any destruction acts under any pretext," noting
that "the wrong killing of sheikh Jabir is a catastrophe on all but we do not accept
to
cause any harm doing." As for the explosion of the oil pipe, he denied any
involvement in this act, affirming that those who blew the oil pipe up merely
represent themselves
but not Aal Shabwan and strongly criticized this destruction act and disapproved it
anyways.
