MEDICAL CLINICS OPENED FOR DISPLACED PEOPLE IN SAADA



SAADA, May 30 (Saba) - Medical clinics of reproductive health and
family planning services were opened on Sunday in al-Jabbana and Sam
camps for displaced people in the city of Saada.

The clinics, inaugurated by the Governor of Saada Taha Hajar and
supported by the UN's Fund for Population, include a specialized
medical team, an integrated laboratory, medical detection equipments
and medicines.

The governor was briefed by the Public Health Office's
general-director Hanbosh Hussein on the medical services of family
planning and productive health to be provided by the clinics for the
displaced in the province.

Hajar pointed to the role played by clinics in the area of health
care and medical consultation in the camps on ways and means of
family planning and the implementation of awareness programs.

Meanwhile, he pointed out the families' need for model medical
services, noting to the role of the UN's Fund and the Public Health
Office in the province in the implementation of such health
activities.

For her part, the Coordinator of the UN's Fund for Population
Program ,Nabila al-Hadi, reviewed the activities presented by the
program in the field of population and family health.
