ITC-GENEVA PRAISES ECONOMIC, TRADE REFORMS IN YEMEN

SANA'A, May 30 (Saba) - The International Trade Center (ITC) -
Geneva has praised the economic and trade reforms witnessed by
Yemen, the 26sep.net reported on Sunday.

The ITC's Senior Advisor, Arif Hussein, said in a statement to the
26sep.net that Yemen has seen significant developments in the field
of economic and trade reforms and it is currently supported by the
international community to accelerate its accession to the World
Trade Organization (WTO).

Yemen's accession to the WTO would contribute to achieving the
system of economic and trade reforms carried out by the Yemeni
government and would enable Yemen to benefit from the advantages
provided by the WTO for the developing countries, Hussein added.
