Empowerment will be held next week in Sana'a for three days.

Sport and Youth Ministry and Save the Children are organizing the

In a press release, Save the Children said on Monday that the
conference would be a great opportunity for youth to participate
positively in determining "their own future, and the future of their
local communities socially, culturally and economically through
empowering them and making their voices heard".

"Yemeni youth will present papers on their experiences and
expectations. In addition, the participants from other Arab
countries, including Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and others
will present work papers and some experiences of youth empowerment
from their countries", Save the Children said.

"This conference is an opportunity for youth empowerment and
participation to be decision makers in issues that directly affect
them. It will ensure Youths voices are heard through preparing,
planning, and implementing this conference with a focus on
vulnerable youth in decision-making".
