Devoting media to serve childhood, motherhood issues reviewed

SANA'A, May 31 (Saba)
- Information Ministry and UNICEF reviewed here on Monday the implemented works for
devoting
media to serve childhood and motherhood issues.
Minister of Information Hassan al-Lawzi and the UNICEF's new resident
representative in Yemen discussed cooperation relations tying the organization with
the Ministry and
its institutions.
The two sides also talked about suggestions related to the joint cooperation
programs between the UNICEF and Ministry for the coming phase for activating the
media role
in that field.
Al-Lawzi welcomed the UNICEF new official, affirming the Ministry and its
institutions' position towards supporting the organization and facilitating its
works.
In return, the UNICEF official expressed his pleasure for working in Yemen, noting
his confidence for the cooperation of the government and all its bodies in this
regard.
He also indicated that media has a big importance for serving the development goals
as he has practical ideas and discussed them with specialized people in that field.
