YEMEN HUGE PROTEST AFTER ISRAELI HEINOUS ATTACK ON GAZA FLOTILLA

SANA'A, 01 June (Saba) - Tens of thousands of people gathered on
Tuesday in Yemen's capital of Sana'a to protest the heinous attack
on the pro-Palestinian activist flotilla that was carrying aid
supplies for the people in the Palestinian Gaza strip under Israeli
blockade since 2007.

Almost nine activists of those who were onboard the ship convoy
carrying aid supplies to the people in the strip were killed and
others were injured when Israeli troops boarded the convoy and
opened fire on them.

In the rally, organized by Yemeni political parties and popular and
civil society organizations in association with the Pro-Palestinian
People Association, demonstrators carried placards condemning the
raid and the Arab silence towards the rights of the Palestinian
people and urging to lift the Israeli blockade on Gaza imposed since
2007.

Assistant Secretary General of the Ruling Party, Sultan al-Barakani,
delivered a speech saying that it is the responsibility of every
Muslim and human in the planet to condemn Monday's heinous attack
against the ships in the sea.

All what Israel is doing is inhumane and violating all international
human rights laws and accords, he said.

The attack was a barbaric and criminal act by the Zionist Being that
deserves to be expelled from the UN Organization, he said.

Moreover, he called on the Arab and Muslim countries to bear sense
of responsibility and have one voice to face aggressive Israeli
attacks in the region.
