CHINESE CULTURAL CENTER OPENS HERE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Chinese cultural center opening ceremony took place Wednesday in the Central Tower in frames of the official visit of Wen Jiabao, the Premier of the People's Republic of China (PRC) to Mongolia. Among others present at the ceremony were Mr. Wen and M.Enkhbold, the First Deputy Premier of Mongolia and head of Mongolia-China inter-governmental commission.
An agreement on founding the Mongolian cultural center in China and that of China in Mongolia was signed by the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and the PRC's President Hu Jintao May 1, 2010, in Shanghai city, China.
It is expected that cultural exchanges between Mongolia and China will reach a newer step thanks to the cultural center. In addition to it, the Mongolians will learn more about the Chinese culture, lifestyle and economic development, and a mutual understanding will deepen between the peoples of the two countries.
During the ceremony, artists from the Chinese Foshan city mounted an exhibition of vases and ceramics.
