Yemen, OPEC fund sign $ 9.1 mln loan agreement

SANA'A, June 02 (Saba)- Yemen and
OPEC Fund for International Development signed on Tuesday in Vena capital of Austria
a loan
agreement at sum of $ 1 million to finance a project of developing vocational and
technical education in the country.
The agreement was signed by the Yemeni ambassador to Austria Alwan al-Alwani and
OPEC fund Suliman al-Harbash.
Al-Alwani valued support of the OPEC fund for the development process in Yemen,
wishing further support from the fund for the country.
For his part, the director of OPEC fund affirmed concern of the fund to continue
its support for the development projects in Yemen, highlighting ongoing cooperation
between
the fund and Yemen.
