Yemen initiative on table in Cairo

CAIRO, June 03 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr
al-Qirbi is taking part Thursday in the ministerial meeting of the Higher Committee
of
Five at the Arab League in Cairo to discuss the Yemeni initiative to reform the Arab
League and activate the joint Arab work, for which a committee was formed in the
last
Arab summit in Libya.
The meeting approved approach of developing the joint Arab work based on the Yemeni
initiative and other visions presented by the Arab countries so that the A.L.
General
Secretariat submits a vision on the proposals which will be approved by foreign
ministers of the five countries to be raised to the Summit of Five and then to the
extraordinary
Arab Summit in October 2010.
