MECHANISM OF GRANTING PERMITS FOR HOUSING GAS SELLERS TO BE REVIEWED

SANA'A, June 05 (Saba)- The National Committee of Security and
Safety (NCSS) decided on Saturday to review a mechanism of granting
permits for housing gas sellers.

The committee also approved closing all gas stores in the housing
places, asking owners of gas stores to do and follow all safety
measures or their stores would be closed.

In April of this year, the committee discussed a five- plan of
getting rid of around 4 million damaged gas cylinders.

The step comes in response to decision of the cabinet No. 40/2010
which asked that the Yemen Gas Company (YGC) to carry out the plan.
