Crude oil sales for August 2010 approved

SANA'A, June 07 (Saba) - The Supreme
Committee on Crude Oil Marketing approved on Monday the crude oil sales for August
2010, with
a total quantity of 5.65 million barrels.
The committee approved to sell about 3.25 million barrels of al-Masila crude
produced in Hadramout, for the best offered price, 36 cent increase.
It also approved to sell the available quantity of Marib crude estimated at 2.4
million to the Aden Refinery Company, for the dated price of Brent.
This came in accordance with to the supreme committee's decision to implement the
Cabinet's decision on the sale of the whole quantity of Marib Crude to the Aden
Refinery
Company to meet the growing domestic demand for oil products.
In its meeting, the supreme committee reviewed the technical committee's report on
the sales rounds of May and June 2010, and got acquainted with and approved the
minutes
of its previous meeting.
