PREMIER MEETS INDIA'S MINING OFFICIALS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold received Monday a delegation headed by Mrs. Santha Sheela Nair, the State Secretary of India's Ministry of Mining.
The Premier expressed his satisfaction with the visit of India's authorities of mining sector and business delegates to seek opportunities to widen the bilateral cooperation in the sector.
Mrs. Nair said the government of India has established a mining consortium with its participation. "By doing so we want to provide the disabled and the poor with opportunities to get income through having own stocks the benefits of mining production and to raise a reputation of our mining sector," she said and added that some relevant draft laws have been drawn up.
The Premier said,"In coopperating with India in the mining sphere Mongolia will adhere to the justice, make the same size of investments and comlpy with win-win principle." He added that Mongolia has a willingness to cooperate with India in refining upon a legal environment for development of the collaboration in the uranium sector.
The sides emphasized an importance of holding meetings and sharing views on boosting the bilateral cooperation in the above sector.
