Yemenia launches Sana'a-Guangzhou new flight line

GUANGZHOU, June 08 (Saba)- The Yemen Airways (Yemenia) launched on Tuesday a new flight line between Sana'a and Guangzhou of China and opened its office in the People's Republic of China.

In the opening ceremony which took place following the arrival the first Yemenia
flight, ambassador of Yemen to China Abdul-Malik al-Mu'alimi pointed out that the
new line
will contribute to increasing the number of passengers and providing new merits for
the Yemeni community in China as it is considered the biggest Arab community there.
He valued support of China for the various fields in Yemen, out of which is
transportation, renewing the call for Chinese companies to invest in Yemen and make
use of the
advantages provided by the Yemeni Investment Law.
For his part, Deputy General Manager for Commercial Affairs at the Yemenia Muneer
Jahwash indicated that this new flight line comes in accordance with economic
studies which
showed the necessity of this move to serve the Yemeni community in China, in
addition to boosting volume of the commercial exchange between the two countries.
