EMIRATES ORDERS 32 A380 JETLINERS

KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) -- Dubai's Emirates Airline has ordered an
additional thirty-two A380 jetliners, taking their total orders for the A380
jetliners to 90 aircraft costing US$11.5 billion.

The agreement was signed by Emirates Airline Group Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer Sheikh Ahmed Saeed Al-Maktoum and Airbus President and
Chief Executive Officer Tom Enders in Berlin on Tuesday.

Emirates now operates 10 aircraft serving eight destinations including
London's Heathrow, Toronto, Paris, Jeddah, Bangkok, Seoul, Sydney and Auckland.

Airbus A380, the world largest passenger aircraft which is also the quietest
and most fuel efficient, consumes less than three liters of fuel per passenger
per 100 kilometres.

With a range of 8,300 nautical miles/15,400 kilometres and seating from 400
to more than 800 passengers, the aicraft is the answer to alleviate traffic
congestion at busy airports, cope with growth and minimise environmental impact.
