FIRE RAVAGES WOODEN HOUSES IN ADEN

ADEN, June 09 (Saba) - Firefighters in the city of Aden put out on
Tuesday a blaze that broke out in the wooden houses in Radfan zone
in Muala district and caused the burning of 22 wooden houses.

Director of Civil Defense Department in Aden, Colonel Mohamed Haidar
told Saba that the fire crews put out the fire in record time, and
the inhabitants of those houses were saved and there was only one
injury.

He explained that the cause of the fire, which caused losses
estimated at YR 2 million, has not been clear yet and the
investigation is underway.
