Yemen, Turkey sign cooperation agreement in tourism field

ANKARA, June 09 (Saba) - Yemen and Turkey signed on Tuesday an agreement of cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.

This came at the conclusion of the fifth session of the Yemeni-Turkish Joint
Committee in Ankara.
Minister of Industry and Trade, and head of the Yemeni side in the session, Yahya
al-Mutawakil, voiced Yemen's aspiration for more bilateral cooperation between the
two
countries, especially in the areas of investment, trade and industry so as to serve
the common interests.
For his part, the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Bülent Ar?nç
affirmed the Turkish government's support for Yemen in the various fields.
On the sideline of the session, al-Mutawakil met with the Chairman of the Turkish
Chamber of Commerce Rifaat Oglu.
In the meeting, the Turkish official affirmed his readiness to urge the Turkish
investors to invest in Yemen and to offer the professional training for the Yemeni
side in
the fields of industry and tourism and welcomed the Yemeni investors in Turkey.
