AFZ, Dubai Customs authorities discuss cooperation ties
ADEN, June 09 (Saba) - Aden Free Zone (AFZ) Customs and Dubai Customs discussed here on Wednesday mutual cooperation aspects between the two sides and means of promoting them.
General Director of AFZ Yahya al-Kibsi and Director of International Relations at
Dubai Customs Abbas Makki discussed the possibility of exchanging information
between the
two sides.
They also talked about issues of anti-smuggling and ensure clearance of goods for
consumers and importers of the two sectors, public and private.
The mechanism of improving the work through training and rehabilitating the AFZ
Customs' staff and benefiting from Dubai Customs' experience in were also
highlighted in
the meeting.
Makki, who is currently visiting Yemen, paid a visit to Aden Container Terminal
(ACT) and Aden Port and got acquainted with the shipping activity and the process
of modernization
the ACT.
