Yemen in talks with UNDP on UN aid for IDPs

SANA'A, June 09 (Saba) - Yemen and UNDP
discussed here on Wednesday the aid presented by donors and UN's bodies to support
the
Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Saada.
Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a and UN Resident
Coordinator in Yemen Pratibha Mehta dealt with the mutual cooperation ties between
the ministry
and international organizations in Yemen.
In the meeting, Mehta briefed that the UN humanitarian call has been responded well
by humanitarian organizations, adding that the Ministry has received an aid of US
$52
million.
For his part, Rase'a said that the ministry is still in a great need for
humanitarian aid to help the IDPs to return back to their homes.
